Tbred B's are showing up all over the place. I didn't knew the lower Tbred A's were going to be replaced so fast.

XP2100+ Tbred 'B': 2500mhz @ 1.85v and H²O cooling (!!!! Todb @xtreme)
XP1700+ Tbred 'B': 2200mhz @ 1.85v and volcano 7 (!!! DDTUNG @xtreme)

Damn... that's some whopping performance you get for €70!

KR7A supports the XP2000+ without problem
check www.abit.com.tw for latest bios versions

Quote:
Version B5 (3 October 2002)

Supports AMD Athlon XP CPU, 0.18 micron process Palomino up to 2100+ and 0.13 micron process Thoroughbred up to 2000+.
HPT 372 BIOS Version 2.32
BIOS compile Date: 8/22/2002.
[Note: this BIOS reflects the fact that XP2200+ Thoroughbred processors did not work properly on the KR7A(-RAID), so support was removed.]
to let higher Tbred CPU's work flawlessly on the KR7A you need the close the L3 bridge, and use higher FSB to obtain the same speeds
