Default X2 4600+ VS FX57 VS 0517 3000+ 3 super star comparison

This report has been finished 2 weeks ago.
As new test too much recently, I just delay to post it.

Let¡¦s take a look of CPU, not so clear

Except over 3G test, lets compare with 3000+ 0517 VENICE

Configuration
AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+&FX57&3000+ VENICE 0517
DFI nF4 LANParty Ultra-D
GSkill 1GBFF&1GBGH
SPARKLE6200
Sunnystone water cooler and compressor
TOPOWER 520W

In the beginning, use dual core CPU supported software
PCMARK2004

3000+ 2.7G CPU scores 5049

X2 4600+ 2.7G CPU scores 7510

FX57 3G CPU scores 5675

Single core and dual core get almost 50% different in PCMARK2004

Next, the web friends recommend CINEBENCH2003
3000+ in 2.7G
Single CPU Render Test
69.3 seconds

4600+ in 2.7G
Single CPU Render Test
68.7 seconds
Multiple CPU Render Test
36.6 seconds

FX57 in 3G
Single CPU Render Test
63.0 seconds

Swap to compressor
1.37V 3G in SiSoftware Sandra

Running Prime95

1.52V 3.2G in SiSoftware Sandra

Comparing to single core, the temperature and OC ability are similar.
If you are using dual core supported video capture software, it can improve almost 50% performance.
The only disadvantage of AMD dual core CPU is High Price¡K
