It's for the cpu socket/pins, i'd rather play safe with this

I'm still reading up on how to properly isolate everything as to reduce the chances of condensation shorting the whole lot out.

I've read the mach I's had some issues with that and about someone at XS who's proc had lost some pins due to corrosion caused by long term phase change cooling. That's where the dielectric grease comes in.

the silicone is for the open square between the pin grid. I think I've seen it done before but I was doubtfull so I thought I'd better ask



I still gotta read bowman's guide on isolation, I just haven't gotten to it yet :/

Vaseline or some silicone gel (NOT glue) should do the trick.

Vaseline is some old trick I read once at OC.com in some plet article.

I use vaseline on my Gpu. Works fine and is easy removable.

They have send me a bios ship for my dfi and charged 0€, and my dfi isnt even bought there => great service or am i wrong?
i had to wait a long time before i got my whitewater too but that just depends on their stock i think

Ah see, I tought I saw this in on a webshop but when I checked tweakstore, I didn't check the pelts section.
