Be carefull with that Zalman cooler, because it doesn't completely cover the chip :grum: . |
shouldn't be a problem since the heat production is in the centre anyway. |
idd, but because I'm working on a casemod my mobo is out my case (on the mobotray) and there are 2 120mm fans cooling it :D + roomtemp is 11°C :D. I like a cold room. For 24/7 use I don't think I gonna puchit that far :D. @kristos. I used a pencil mod :D. Just to be sure that a real voltmod would work. In a few weeks I gonna buy a good solder set and then I gonna mod it with a resistor. btw, I used this guide http://www.motherboardfaqs.com/content.php?content.12 |
just reached 268 ( forgot to take a screen :() but on 270 pc chrashed and windows screwed up. :( It crashs more than a normal windows install :). guys, I think I need BH-5 really hard :D. someone want's to trade it with CH-5 and a barton 2500+ that does 2.5Ghz on stock voltage :D. Thats the best I can offer :D. Maybe €50 extra, but thats it :( BTW, I tested my barton 2500+ and it's max is 2.5Ghz, It does 2.5Ghz on stock voltage, but then it stops, even if you use a much higher voltage :wtf: |
I got a very strange problem. My pc won't boot with a divider differend from 3/3 :wtf: |
anything other then 1/1 (and 2/2/ 3/3 ... auto) doesn't work like it should on nf7's (and I think on nforce2 in general) |

Pc is still chrashing a lot btw, didn't had time to do a format. |
well I have no experience with it, I just read it on fora :) I didn't try running async yet because of the performance drop and the problems I hear about while running async, whatever they may be. I'm going to try it one of these days, see what gives. |

it's not for performance, it's to see how high I can clock the ram (if the dividers allow for this) btw do you notice a performance gain at 3/3 compared to the other dividers like 1/1 2/2 6/6 and auto? I always leave it on auto cuz it's supposed to give best performance (if you can believe the bios info ;)) but I haven't tested if it's true. |
