I noticed many times that the dealer-specs (CFM & dB) vary A LOT !

Compare the following table for example: http://www.papst.de/products_luefter_dcaxial01.html

Papst does NOT produce a 120mm 19dB fan

A rheo - fanbus will solve all your questions

You're damn right!
AFAIK Panaflo fans have the best CFM/dBA ratio: 120mm L1A: 69CFM/30dBA, and this is real!

What I use: A Panaflo M1A (86CFM/35.5dBA) with a rheobus.

CD :)

I am using such a fan (Titan AluFrame from Colorcase) with the heatsink from zalman cnps6000Cu (http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/cnps6000Cu.htm)

Perhaps a slk900 would be better, but at the moment it's doing its job fine.

Less noise than the zalman fan. (zalman fan is silent, but has a noise with a higher pitch)

My cpu temps went 6°C down with the Titan fan.
32°C idle. 39°C stressed
CPU is a AMD 1800+
