serious under voltage operation

Yoowh dudes and dudettes

I've been playing with vcore last week. My P4 3GHz 800FSB normally requires 1.525 - 1.55 Vcore default. Since a few days I'm operating it at 1.2 V without any problems. CPU temp dropped 6°C because of it :)

Now my question is for you hardcore dudes, is there a possibility that I might be damaging my system or other components? Can this under voltage operation lead to reduced system lifetime?

thanks!

undervoltage afaik will not damage your CPU

undervolting does not damage anything , but there could exist stability issues under high load.

[guess mode] if you burn it in for a couple of weeks , isn't it possible to achieve higher oc's on standard V-core? [/guess mode]
