Default searching nf7-s mods + ti4200mods

tomorrow I will buy a solder station. And I'm planning to do some mods on my nf7-s rev2 and my abit siluro gf4ti4200 64MB. But I'm still searching for guides for those voltmods.

Does someone know where I can find them? Need to be vmods with a trimmer. So I can regulate the voltage.

I allready found this mods

http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread...threadid=65004 http://www.motherboardfaqs.com/content.php?content.15

I need a vdimm mod so I can push my BH-5 ram a bit higher. Now 235Mhz@2.96V
I gonna change that vdd mod (pencil) with one with a resistor
I need some other mods too. I don't get the meaning of a Vtt/Vbt mod and a Vbt=Vdd so can someone explain it to me. I know it's to make your motherboard more stable at high fsb, but thats all.

Does someone know wich guides I got to follow. Or does someone know same better mods.

I also need guides of mods for my ti4200. But I don't find them

fftopic: does someone have a nforce 2 mobo, a graka or/and a cheap atx case for sale. I want to make a second pc to put linux on. Need it for school

correctamento

Vtt should always be half of chipset voltage

Vbt is something else, don't remember what :/
I asked once cuz I thought vtt was the same as vbt but apparently, it's not the same

I don't know if vbt should be the same as vdd, I think that was needed with infinity/lanparty axp boards but it's all gotten very vague

same here, swapped the nf7's again.

reading your thread "vmodding rules" or something it gave me hope again so I'm going to try to mod it tomorrow

I'm a bit more cofindent offcourse but also, still a bit weary of it because after all, it will only be the seccond time I mod something so delicate.

this is a newer nf7, with colored dimm's but it performed exactly the same as the other one when both were unmodded.

well, I got a older nf7-s rev2 and on my board the mod helped like you can see .

I hope it works on your board too. 268fsb is really . Gonna try that tomorrow with divider 1:1 after the vdimm mod. . I hope tomorrow will be a very cold day. So my cpu can run cool.

btw, what kind of wires should I use for the voltmod? Are ide cables ok???

well... some say ide cables are "perfect" for the job, others say it can't take the heat and/or current so it's really up to you.

malves swears by cut up ide cables but HaLDoL (or however you write that ) told me he had some problems with mods done with cut up ide cables, when done with some "descent" wires, the problems were gone...
