Default problem with overclocking

I have a AMD 2600+ with fsb 333
and an asus a7n8x non deluxe
before today a worked with 2 * 512 mb infineon pc2700
my best overclocking results were 174*12.5

today i'v got my new memory
2*512 mb twinmos pc 3200

and i can't overclock it
i pushed the sticks in the dual channel ddr slots
and when i go to the bios and push up my fsb till 200
and my ram settings synchron
he don't reboot, i have a beeping sound
what can be the problem?

greetings

it is not the ram that is preventing you from overclocking
not all nForce2 motherboards can reach 200Mhz FSB

try to increase gradually
175-176-177.. etc

or you have the sucky ram that can't handle 200 fsb.

some twinmoss stiks can do that barely

12.5x200 = 2500mhz

that's like... a lot...

I dont reach that on a 8RDA+, corsair PC3200, SLK800 cooled, with a 2600+

2400mhz somewhere, at relatively high vcore...

maybe my 8RGA+ will bring me more fortune...

strange i can run 3dmark @190*11.5 cpu temp is 47°
when i push up the multiplier to 12 so 190*12
the computer won't start up, it says
"nfts.sys not found try to recover with winxp cd"

what can i do about it?
