Default power supply

i bought a sleeving kit today. and tomorrow im buyin some floppy connectors, molex's, 3 pin m/f fan connectors and so on.

im redoing the wiring on my psu (trueblue480) its such a jungle. im replacing the SATA connectors with molex's as well. but i have an AT style P1/P2 connector on it, its not the first time i've seen those on newer power supplies, but i dont know what they're for, i was thinkin of cutting it off and taking a ground + 12v wire and adding them to the fan only connectors to get 2 extra molex connectors. my question is, is there any problem with me doing this?

all the black wires and yellow and red are to the same placed soldered on to the psu pcb.(not exact but same circuit)
so adding some extra wires is no problem.

correct me if i am wrong
