Palit gf4 TI 4200 Voltage measure points
 

Hello,
Yesterday I got a Palit Geforce 4 ti 4200 64 mb card from a friend. All good, but one of the voltage regulars was smoked. I replaced it, and the card is working again. The core is running very hot at stock speeds, so I thought that the gpu maybe could get some overvoltage... I don't know really where the voltage measurepoints of the card are, it seems to be an other pcb layout than the regular ti 4200 cards. Can anyone help me ?

what you can do is download nvflash(take a backup of your current bios) and download a gf4ti4200 bios from palit or leadtek and flash it.
Check or measure you temps now.

Or you can download nibitor and check how much volt they put on that bios you currently using.

if a resistor on the board is smoked, then another won't solve this in my humble opinion:)

That's what I just want to know, the measure points on the pcb, because I think I've got overvoltage caused by that new volt regular, that's not made for this card.

The card works fully stable, even with overclocked speeds, but the core is running abnormally hot, it's not causing artifacts or something like that, it just works great. But I don't think it will run without additional fans blowing on the card.
