Nice project.

Love to see the results here of the finisched project in englisch !

jmke 19th June 2004 23:28

looks pretty good AND compact, most home-made projects take up a whole room, this one seems to be the size of a Mach I unit :)

jort 20th June 2004 20:50

idd i wanne built it under my case (i think its gone weight a ton)
i have some problems with mouting it on my p4 socket but i hope to fix it tomorrow

piotke 20th June 2004 20:59

Now that Nventic is out of business, when are you going in mass production ? :)

great work, wondering how it's going to behave under load.

jort 20th June 2004 23:02

when i have the material and the money and some buyers, why not

the compressor i use istn't that powerfull
so the temps are not gonne be that low but when i have another comprr i'll put it in

Gamer 20th June 2004 23:25

keep up the good work.

jort 25th June 2004 00:54

so the moment hase come=>cpu socket insulation with silicone
pics will follow

jort 25th June 2004 16:20

my mobo is choco i guess.
i doesn't boot anymore
does anyone know's that silicone busts your mobo?
with me yes
need some advise pleaze???

jmke 25th June 2004 16:31

uhm never heard of silicon destroying a mobo.. clean it out, take a P4 HSF, retry

jort 25th June 2004 16:42

your'e kidding right daim
what da you mean by p4 HSF
does it destroy a procc to?

jmke 25th June 2004 16:44

imean remof the mob and cleanitout
so that you'v fres start,
then pick aP4HSF becuas titleof
thred is "phase-change" youknow.

sorry, couldn't resist :- )

jort 25th June 2004 16:56

i removed a bit an hour ago
and it boot for 3 sec and shut down.so i have to clean it all the way. pff
then pick aP4HSF becuas titleof i dont know where you talking about.say it in dutch please?

wutske 25th June 2004 17:08

Put a Pentium4 heatsink on your CPU because the title of the thread is "phase change". I think.
Is the "CPUfan failure power off" setting turned on ? If so, try it again with a fan connected to the CPU_fan header.

jort 25th June 2004 17:14

ah i did thay already
fan is on it
i will cleen it tonight

thank you guys for the info.

my mobo came back to life
i cleaned it with isopropane or something
and a teathcleaner

jmke i ow you one

jmke 25th June 2004 22:24

probably a bad contact somewhere on the board, glad to hear it's back up and running :super:

jort 25th June 2004 22:26

this is my theorie.
due the silicone on some components
and a high frenquent it maybe transfor to a capacitor or something else.
i can be wrong

jort 8th July 2004 20:47

i power-up my phase-change for a test, with peltier on it(56 w)
not on my cpu but if everything goes well with the insulation it will be tested on cpu next week
i let you know the results in an hour

jort 8th July 2004 21:19

i have and evap temp of -32° on 0% of load
with my pelt on it its -26° and when i tested on school with 2 peltiers i've got a coldplatetemp of -20°
so my cpu is going about -22° i think
because the peltiers are together 112 watt and my cpu standard is 74.12w calculated on http://www.benchtest.com/calc.html
and on 3.2ghz and 1.6v its 115 watt so about that
hope my mobo will do that to because i don't have a divider
msi 865 p neo

wutske 8th July 2004 21:22

Nice :ws: , make me wanna make one too (saying this for 2 months or so, haven't done a thing jet, don't even have my WC jet :^D )

jort 8th July 2004 21:24

i know the first step is the hardest one

jort 8th July 2004 21:28

here is a pic of my temp display

tough omg -3.2 that is not possible
but when i removed the sensor and heat it up and put it back it goes to -19 and jumps to -26 big 2 and small 6
normaly its like +23.5 but i think not an negative temps because the - is in place of the normaly big letter :D :super:
here is the magic heatsink

this will make my procc goes to OC'heaven

NipSo 11th July 2004 09:39

awesome work so far keep up the good work...
is there gonna be a thread on how you made it too?

just a question: doing refils and so in belgium, can you do it yourself or dou you have to go to the store for that?

jort 11th July 2004 17:21

you mean filling of the system?or what

kristos 11th July 2004 17:30

yes :)

jort 11th July 2004 20:42

ah it's very hard to get coolant
very hard, oke not that hard but when you know some people it's not difficult to get some.
i can take some from school.

NipSo 11th July 2004 23:13

and where would I have to run to if I want to get it done if I can't get any coolant ... or equipment to change condensor & evap?

jort 11th July 2004 23:24

maybe a person who build coolinstallations.
look in the yellow pages for someone in the region and tell him what you wanne build.for a small price you get some stuff
if you want some material i have a "procent" by a dealer:p
