jort just got us 12L LN² , im starting tests on Evga + X6800 under cascade .


cascade is still cooling down gone fire it up now and take some screens from bios temps ;)

how high does the CPU go 24/7 stable on air? just for comparison to see what gain you'll get when going to phase and then to LN2

What did that cascade cost you? Piotres (XS) has on for sale under 1000€.

Comes from France this one, I think around it was €950 if I remember right...

cpu runs stock 24/7 , benches 3.9ghz whit good air .
max phase 4.6ghz ss , 4.5ghz pi , 4.4ghz 3D
cascade if it gose good 5.05ghz pi , 4.7ghz 3D
950€ for cascade , zorbapol is gone buy one from piotres for 1060€ ;) .
my evap is way to small for load off a conroe :D
im installing windows @ 4.6ghz atm , pi 32M kicks on 2gb of rams thats for sure :(

got the pics off the LN² benches online .
cascade temps bios , should be -98°C or so becaus evap only had -101°C :-p


first boot no LN² in the tube

then jort made thees 2 pics i lovethem :D


after a little while we got little frost

some what later


when we stopt jort had the bord on his legs , really cold back plate :p

thats all so far next up qaud core benching LN²

it's not really that hard to bench alone, just pratice is needed.

First apply all settings at bios at the lowest temp possible, then boot the system and try to maintain the temp as stable as possible. You and i know that the dragonpot remains mutch more stable then the chilly1 pot.

Open all applications and then fill it up till the right temp is achieved, then Run 9 sec of Pi and your set.

This is offcourse the Simple version :D
