OK I;ve stealthed my mouse

hi, I steathed my optical mouse by placing it upside down into the keyboard tray flush with the tray,
I then placed a piece of etched acrylic on top,( the etched piece doesn't move) with the pad I choose it just moves around like normal to activate left and right functions I simply push down on the side I want.
I went and reversed the mouse buttons through windows mouse settings.
the top pad can be any shape, I just used this for testing...
so the mouse stays still and the pad moves for a change as for gaming it's as good as before and it looks cool to see no mouse.
let's just say it's like having a fully functional mouse that's 3/16"thick.
no wires, no mouse. here's a pic

it works as good as before or better.
what do you's think?

so you move your finger over the mouse top ? of a piece of plastic ?

looks nicely, but I don't understand the technique for using it....

I don't really get the point of this mod : u still have to move a plate over the sensor?

but hey, nevertheless, nice idea to put that mouse in your desk
