OCZ EL pc3700 gold edition rev2 today I popped in some OCZ EL pc3700 gold edition rev2 256MB*2 sticks on my abit nf7-s, wanted my ram to run at cas 2-2.5 instead of 3.0 my twinmos pc2700 was doing, but when i booted and went into windows, it said I had 256MB dual channel, I pulled one stick out and booted again into windows, it now said I had 128MB single channel, so what the hell is going on??? did I get 128MB sticks? is my combo ****ed? help plz:( |
did you try flashing your motherboard? |
no i did not, could it help? how to do it? do you mean, flash it to another bios version? |
to the latest if possible, do you have another system you can try? you say that it shows 128mb instead of 256 with one stick. did you try both sticks seperately? same result? |
just tried, both of them operate at 128MB, but cpu-z sees them as OCZ yadayada pc3700 256MB (but recognizes them as 128, just as windows) edit: i have bios version 19 for rev2.0, cant' download 21 at the moment |
