Finally i received my brandnew abit kr7a-raid 3days ago (sorry for not posting any news for a while)

well here we go some sisoft screenies first:

mem

winbond

memory: cheapass infineon 512mb pc2100
3-6-3 cl2.5

cpu xp1700+@10.5x192 @ 1.725vcore (+- 30° idle / 35° after 3hours of prime benchmarking)

mobo: abit kr7a-R

How can i raise my memory bandwidh or speed ?
(i don´t understand all the RAS2cas Trp TRAS stuff :) it´s completely new to me)

And i think theres a problem with my Maxtor 6L060J3 60gig ata133
Winbench 99 gives it a maximum of 4190000 bytes/sec
i think thats the problem why i still have an old computer feeling :)

lower your memory timings as much as possible :)

running your memory at say 180mhz but with timings at 2-5-2 cl2 will more than compensate for the loss of bandwidth, altho this is just an example :)

hopefully u should be able to run your memory at the same speeds you are now, but with the lower (lower=faster) timings :)

a quicky, improved results later (gotta go)
