New toys !

Asus A8N SLI rev 1.02 bios 1010-002
A64 3000+ Venice
Zalman 7700 Cu
1* 512 Mb Mushkin pc3200 LII V2
Asus X300Se
Antec 550 watt Truecontrol

Right now I'm awaitening a better VGA card. And better/more/dual channel ram (Wuv ya JMke =))

First impressions, first bios was really worthless, almost nothing worked how it should. Now that I flashed it to the latest I can do already a bit more, only bad thing ios that Vcore cab only go up to 1.55 (And then it fluctuates from 1.5 to 1.58 in windows.) And I can't find any Vmods that will get me over 1.7 Vcore, or hell, even over 1.55 stable...

The memory I have now is not so goo either max = ~250 Mhz (M review )

But it's just a toy :)

You da man, as i'm very memory limited right now.

jmke 9th July 2005 10:27

seems very okay to me, running mem sync will not improve things much

dual channel gains a extra second, and runnin sync, would also improve a bit

now it's time to decently test the x300se

Not haven't had much sleep? ;p

Piotr, going beyond 1.55V with Venice won't get you a bigger oc (unless you've got phase change) ;).

This is 100% stable, but friggin hot, just burned my finger, really, while touching the heatsink.

What doas this mean, these frequencies ?
with the cpu somewhere at 2,7 Ghz 3D Mark 01.

Default: 6500 3d Marks, overclocked: 8800

other benches and active cooling are for after the weekend, bbq preparation time now.
