new system tips 805 D
 

So im building a new system based on the OC capabilities of the Pentium D 805, heres what im getting:

Some full tower case

Plan on watercooling the whole system but heres what I need:
Which PSU should I get (I plan on crossfiring eventually) im thinking at least 650W.

Also, which watercooling system should I get, AND should I buy the watercooled model of the 1900xtx or watercool it myself?

Crossfire likes power supplies which don't have 3 different 12v rails, but one very strong one, the OCZ GameXstream, Mushkin 650W, Coolermaster 550W SLI and latest one from Silverstone (700W beast) are more than qualified to handle the load; if you want to go for professional high grade gear, anything from "Zippy" is highly recommended also, but it's more expensive.

Water cooling wise, if you want the best performance a large radiator with good performance/noise 120mm fans will be the main ingredient of the setup, a good pump (compact ones from Swiftech, Dangerden which work on 12v are pretty good) and a high performance water block; look into a water block for which you can swap the mounting gear as to make it compatible with future sockets if needed.

The Swiftech Storm is regarded by many as one of the best at the moment, it can fit anything except for AM2, but I think they are working on a solution for this.

I don't have experience with X1900 series waterblocks, but those GPU's run quite hot so a high performance block will pay off if you want to overclock it.

ok thanks, so your suggesting the 700 W silverstone? will that work with the dual x1900xtx and the overclocking of my PD805 - gonna get it up to like 4ghz hopefully

actually, the 700W silverstone is the only one I'm not suggesting ;)

haha ok, im going for the ocz gamexstream 700 w one then :)

why not a seasonic s12 600Watt, isn't peak power, but 600 wat it can deliver all the time, ocz is probably only peak power of 700W??--
