new to overclocking

i never really over clock a processor but i'm wanting to learn
i have a AMD Athlon™ XP processor 3000+
VIA KM 400A2 Chipset
80 GB HDD
512 MB DDR (PC2700)
i have an KM4M-L msi mainboard
i'm wanting to overclock it as much as possible

any help on how to go aout doing this ?

am i the only one or are you ppl to wondering how mush an 3000+ XP would do .

the athlon64 does good so... :D
