Needs GA-G33M-DS2R VDroop mod (ISL6327) 2 Attachment(s) Hi My name is julien, i'm from France and i'm new on this board. I'm new in Vmodding but I need a mod for my Gigabyte GA-G3MM-DS2R with a quite big Vdroop and Vdrop. The voltage regulation chip is the same as P35 one, an ISL6327 I ve measured many resistances and i think i ve found the FB resistor that causes Droop, it s a 2.6k resistor between VDiff & FB. http://fishton.free.fr/IMG_0175.JPG here is a very HQ photo of the layout Is a pencil mod on this resistor possible ? Thx a lot for your help Here some measure points : http://fishton.free.fr/HQ Sorry for URLs, I'dont have right to post it right now (not enough post) thx for your help :ws: :ws: Cheers, fishton |

Hope somebody will help you out, unfortunately VMODs are not my strong point;) |

I understand why url are not allowed, that's not a problem, except for guys who don't know how to replace "*" by "t", but these guys will not be able to make a Vmod, i'm quite sure :o |
Thx for your edit, I didn't see it before  |

Hi Big Thx u for your response :ws: I m quite sure for the points, but i ll verify tonight because I think I forgot some other points connected to Comp. For the VDroop, the pencil mod will shortcut the 2.6k resistor and VDroop will be null ? am i right ? but I don't understand why putting a 500k resistor accross is equals to pencil mod :o |
If I just want a vdroop mod (no vcore mod needed for instance because I don't want to solder on it right now), I just need to pencil the resistor ? |
No the pencil mod I indicated is also for vcore. I haven't figured the vdroop mod out yet |
I thought pencil mod on resistor 2.6k was enough for Vdroop mod :( |
Pencilmod between points 5 and 9 ? |
