Mach1 modding to mach2 supercharged for a guy called: The Bat

This mach1 is for a dutch friend, he is a fan of batman so the unit is tranformed to his needs :super:

First i drawed the template on the sidepanel.

Did some jiggsawing.

Then an option from the house, a LP gauge.

Removed the unit from his cage.

Preinstalled a desuperheater.

Brazed it onto the discharge and inlet condensor.

Made a new suctionline for the unit, 3/8 tube and 3/8 ID flexline.

Then the most important thing of the mod, The evaporator.
Stock evap is crap with crappy mounting, lets change that.
The evap is made by joe_cool and ordered by Jan.

Then there was fire

Heating the evap up.

Every space is filled with sylphos brazing rods.

Cooling down but still purging to keep the damn moisture outside where it belongs.

Cleaned the evap a littlebit. Clean on the inside and clean on the outside.

Gauge installed on the service connection.

Preinstalled the sidepanel to show where the gauge is about.

still need to fix the insulation but i ran out of it so need to order some more.

Front side.

The unit is vacuming right now so i'll post some pics later this night

;)

this baby is going to get a high gloss black paint later this week:D

I would recommend using some bright (fluo) yellow inside that case too. I think it would make it more 'bling bling' then without the yellow parts. Keep it up Jort ;)

blue/red CCFL action inside too? :)
