Pretty weird shader behavior. For 06 I have to downclock 100MHz. Colder temperatures should help increase the shaders, though :-)

How much shader do you need for let us say 20Mhz core? To equal stuff.
Is it worth (ofcourse it is ) pushing shader that hard?

Strange thing here with 5870x3, it seems like the third card goes to 0 mhz ?
I'm only getting like 22k on vantage, and that's bad for 4200 mhz i7

Good question. It depends from card to card as the shader overclock affects/has effect on core freq and memory frequency. In a perfect world, I'd be able to make charts of how this card responds to core/shader/memory overclock, work out a formula and come up with the best combination but ... it's trail and error really.

As for now, I'm aiming for "higher = better"

Current drivers are **** for multi-gpu 5870 configurations. You need a good beta driver to get it to work so-so. Andre has it, but doesn't want to share.

I meant multi-gpu in Vantage.

in 03/05/06 they scale if you have a cpu clocked high enough.
