Default hulp bij oc barton 3000+

Ok efkes mijn rig voorstellen

case : thermaltake xaser II
cpu : barton 3000+
mobo : abit nf7-s rev2
graka : hercules radeon 9700 pro
hd : wd 120gb 8mb cache
cpu cooler : den stock koeler met de stock koelpasta op
ram : 2* 512 mb twinmos pc3200 bh5 chips
probleem :

Ik wil mijn pc zo ver mogelijk en dit met een zo hoog mogelijke fsb
Momenteel geraak ik nie over een fsb van 195
ram timings are 8-3-3-2.5

Koolskamp? Ik heb ff jouw site bezocht en ik denk dat ik jou ken. Wel kennen is een groot woord, ik ken jouw naam niet hoor. KLJ??

Eerst ff dit, ik vind jouw temperaturen niet zo good. Standaardsnelheid van een 3000+ = 13 x fsb 166 = 2166 MHz. Jouw CPU doet nu 2197MHz. Dat is niet veel meer dan stock-speed maar toch zit je al aan bijna 70°C! Ook de temperatuur in jouw case is nogal aan de hoge kant. Jouw CPU zal niet veel verder meer clocken met zo'n temperaturen.

Maar het verklaard niet onmiddellijk waarom je niet voorbij de 195 Mhz kan. Het beste wat je kan doen is eerst de maximum fsb zoeken die je kan halen, daarom verlaag je beter je multiplier nog naar 10 bijvoorbeeld.

Als jouw geheugen echt BH-5 chippies heeft, dan kan dat ook het probleem zijn. Sommigen hebben problemen met hun BH-5 chips in combinatie met een NF7-S. Raar eigenlijk aangezien anderen er dan weer fantastische resultaten mee halen. Normaal kunnen BH-5 chips redelijk strakke timings aan. 2-2-2-6 moet lukken op 200 MHz fsb.

effe off topic, ja ik zit in de klj van koolskamp
wie zijt gij?

hoe verklaar je die hoge temperaturen?
wat kan ik er aan doen?
ram timings zijn nu 2-2-4-11
en fsb van 190

Die temperaturen zijn niet echt problematisch hoor. Maar je zal zeker jouw CPU niet veel verder meer krijgen.
De oorzaak is heel simpel: jouw stock-koeler met stock-koelpasta.

Heb je al eens geprobeerd om de voltage van jouw ram te verhogen?

en mag ik uw naam weten, mss ken ik je ook

ik heb hier een wc liggen en die wordt normaal donderdag 22 januari geinstalleerd en dan doe ik ook shen itsu ipv die stock koelpasta, dat zal heel wat schelen

temp cpu is nu 64°C
was daarjuist heel warm in de kamer

my rig :

how to increase my fsb with this mobo?
my highest bootable fsb was 195
what's my problem?
look at my temps, how is it possible (100% load)

Rip that bloody stock TIm off.
Ordinairy white goop is already 10°C better.
AS could make another 5°C off.
And that's the best you'll get for stock cooling.
