| it would increase surface area, but I don't think you would gain more than 2°c. |

| I think it will ... when air is blown upon the heatsink it will be able to go to any side it chooses, thus making the contact-area bigger and prolly better cooling but indeed don't think more than 2°C decrease |

| will do it tomorow, HS is removed already and maybe i will lap it but it's allu so don't think it will be that nacesary (or how you write it ) pic's will come |

| your saw must be smaller than the fins of the heatsink. For a bigger surface. But when you put a fan on it my whole theorie makes no sense Because I don't know how the air will move between the heatsink |
