I'm bored, so I hooked up the hdd. It's dead, almost. It spins to max. speed (wow, much air  ) and then stops after a few secs. And it keeps doing that.

Look at how damaged those platters are

Yes, the left one is the hs of my sapphire R9600pro and the right one is the nf7-s nb hs. Those damned heatsinks are soooo loud :grum:

its not that loud, actually when i put in my nf7 on the weekend, i took the fan out of it and put it in my vantec chipset cooler...all copper....more fins on the fan, probly better air flow, and i dont hafta use a 3pin fan header on the mobo, cuz im using the 2pin connector for abit's fan.....i had to cut it a bit to fit it in, and glued it cuz it was makin noise.....but it was a good idea all around i think. im gonna put the abit heatsink on my tusl2 board when i get my tualatin chip back this week

it's an old GF256DDR wich doesn't work too good anymore (characters are mixed up in DOS an lots of stripes, dots etc. in windows). It prolly burnt, because when I got it, the fan was dead.
Ow, and the cpu in front is a PII233 (I still have 2 of them  )
