Default Having fun with QX9650.

Got it today, had to pay €152 taxes on it

But, it seems like it's a great clocker.
Vcore 1.5v in bios, 1.47v in cpu-z and I can do 3D06 (not finished yet).
Seems like we have a winner.
L739 745 is on the core (I think, forgot to look ).

I needed my moded prometeia to get these scores with a QX6850.

Pics and results later.

Be sure to let us know if you notice any degradation with that chip... not even I would pump 1.528v into a 45nm chip, let alone 1.528v after vdroop.

Can't hurt if you don't use it 24/7.

if you can afford a new one, you can fire as much voltage in it as you want

1.4V is a limit for poor people

People modify their boards not to get their Vcore drooping, while the droop is in fact saving the CPU from overshooting voltage. I would definitely try 1,53V in bios, with Vdroop not 'shorted' that is.
