just ordered my d-tek whitewater block last week...
THE best waterblock ever conceived and critics rave!

well, i setup the whole thing...
and this is what happened

the block is like a nice rainy day, sure to get everything wet...
the hoses are dry, it seeps from in between the block...

luckily I hadn't set it up yet inside the system....

I paid 70 euro's for this block + lots of shipping expenses :grum:

can you take the blok apart?

check it for faults.... and seal it off with Tec7 or something like that

it needs to be fixed, I ain't sending it back for another 60 euro's or sth of shipping expenses :(

the block should be opened for that. very strange it's leaking. ask d-tek a refund for your P4C setup that's borked now ;)

Unscrew the top, place a thin layer of silicone on the lid, wait 5 to 10 minutes and screw it back on. Problem solved. :)

possible that during transport it got some bumps and made this error?

good idea, I always place the the top immediately on the bottom of my blocks

let's hope there's a small leak in the rubber ring/sealing stuff and no serious fabrication error

You'd have to bump it in a very strange manner for it to just leak a bit.
one inch of foam should prevent that already.
You could try to place some glue on the sides to stop the leak, but high pressure (as the whitewater needs) can easily break that.
For good results you'll have to open it up and tend to the sealing.
