| Global Win Tak 58 CPU Cooler I am searching for a silent cpucooler for my AMD XP 1800+. The most important is that the cooler is silent, my cpu will not be overclocked. Has anyone experiences with the Global Win Tak 58? Or does anyone have another cooler that is very silent and cools good and can be found in most shops. I have looked at the Zalman moddels but I don't think they will cool enough. My case: Abit KR7A, AMD 1800+ XP, 512 MB DDR Apacer, Radeon 64 MB DDR VIVO, Audigy Player, Seagate Barracuda IV 40 GB, DVD Acer DVP1648A, Plextor 121032A, Chieftec Dragon DA-01 W cooled by 4 PAPST 8412N/2GL 80 mm 1500 RPM Silent case fans controlled by a DigitalDoc 5, running Windows XP Home Ed. Surfing the net with ADSL. My current cooler is a standaard coolermaster that makes a lot of noise, since I replaced my 80 mm Titanfans by Past 8412N/2GL (I recommend them to everyone) the sound of my cpucooler is becoming annoying. Thanks |

| online reviews tell you that it doesn't perform very good, but keeps an XP1800+ @ default speed & voltage below 50°C ps: silent as hell

"The cooler profile is made of black corrugated aluminum; the contact surface to the CPU features a heat transfer pad. The cooler consists of a solid aluminum core that tapers down toward the mounting clip. Cooling ribs branch out on both sides of the cooler core. Both coolers blow air toward the core. This arrangement creates a certain chimney effect; you can feel the powerful airflow above the cooler. With thermal resistance of 0.51°C/W (61°C die temperature), the cooler's performance is excellent. " http://www6.tomshardware.com/cpu/200...ooler5-15.html | |
