VCC3 is a common thing for socket 7 so it's not that abnormal you found the same voltage regulator: SuperSocket 7 revisited!

It's not chipset related. Yes you can probable feed the CPU directly from the 5V line, although I would not take that risk. Your game, not mine You probable have to desolder the Vcpu coil, the one which reads the cpu voltage, and then solder a wire from your PSU onto the soldering island which is closest to the cpu, the one were the filtering caps are connected with. Open a thread and share your results, maybe some PI scaling numbers, some pictures of your modified board?

if u pay LN2 and like to come here NP .
if got a container for that 8800GTS of ure's , also the EVO can be put on the cpu or something like that .
