True, but I know my CRT is capable of 90Hz @1280*1024, but windows just doesn't allow anything above 75Hz... which is too low if you use it for reading/programming.

I don't think i'm "overclocking" my ramdac either, i know it's a 350mhz ramdac. Appearently the ramdac's pîxel frequency is dependend on the resolution+color depth+frequency, hence not running at full speed all the time.

@vulkaantje: if you're sure your monitor can handle 100Hz at 1024*768 & you have a GF4: most likely.

I was just speaking in generalities, it wasn't meant for anyone in particular. Does Powerstrip supervene upon Windows control over Display settings?

Sunglasses @ aldi for 2€

I'm still wearing my last one. But it's soo scratched, I'm gonna buy 5 pairs this time.

BTW if it happened during work, try to pin it on insurance. Should work.

Nice picture. First I thought I was on a different topic, and you had broke the 4K mark. Then i realized you were most likely indicating the results of overclocking a monitor, albeit slightly exaggerated. I won't ateemptp to test the 1,00 word theory, suffice to say it'sd true. 850 to go.
