Primestable? Regardless, it's hell of a OC.:) I have to up mine another 100mhz or more to match up. http://www.madshrimps.be/forums/show...&threadid=8568 Stock Intel Heatsink cooling.:D |
Hey lazyman. you got a great OC from your processor also. I have not primed it up there yet. This was a first try I have however at 3644mhz which is 303.8 fsb and it was stable I went on to run Aquamark and PCmark04 here are those results Here is the link for aqaumark http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_vie...run=1289107750 I will continue testing at higher FSB's! I got to tell you when it booted and did the sandra tests at over 3700, I was pretty freakin' excited. WZ |
Hi WZ, I assure you that it's the processor; a thousand to one chance to get one like that. It's a keeper for sure. When you find a willing processor, it doesn't need much vcore to get it going and neither does it take much to cool.:) Instead to "hunt" for the ultimate cooling; the hunt is to look for the right processor. 2.4C MO stepping is one for sure; like the XP1700+ before. Primestable is the key.:) |
1.3Ghz OC! nice :o |
That's a sweet overclock you got there and a very nice sandra bandwith score too :super: What cooling are you using? Lazyman nice score too, especially with stock cooler :D Those 2.4 M0's sure are a wannahave, unfortunately, they're very hard to come by seccondhand and even if you had the luck of finding one you'd still need a board that goes beyond the 250-255 fsb limit quite a few boards have |
My cooling system. I use a Eheim 1250 pump, Swiftech 5002P waterblock. My radiator is a heater core out of a 1976 buick electra limited. It easily accomdates 2 X 120 mm fans The res I made myself using 1 1/2 pvc. A few pics for you: My cpu temp is 31C @ 3710 mhz! My case temp acerages about 23C. This has been a great cooling system. |
great cooling system indeed :super: That WZ insigne on the bottom of your case is very cool btw :o |
verry nice setup you got there. keep up the good work. |
Thanks, as for the WZ in my case. I just did not want there to be any doubt about who's it is! WZ |
