Default copper videocard cooler

here is my 1u cooler mod, for my 9700 pro, it allowed me to get 374/335 without artifacts, my OC in voltage limited right now...

nice work.

I mounted a Coolermaster heatsink on a 9800Pro with super glue, works just fine :

before : 470 with artifacts
after : 490 with artifacts

if you give it more volts, it's not sure you will OC it higher !!

And here we all are nagging about driver cheats and barely notacible dx8.1 <> dx9 effects.

Looks great

There is a 9800SE coming towards me and I havn't got any old coolers left anymore except a golden orb

It used to cool a tb1200 down to 50° more or less
What do u think, do I mod it
Does has this nasty high pitch fan ...

The golden orb kinda suprisses me here. It did resonable good in the old days. Would like to compare it to some newer coolers.
