yeah but still, 3gig isn't that evident, even under single stage phase change.

I think it would still do 2700 on air, wich is nice in my humble opinion

by very good overclockers or can an average oc'er have those prestations? I'm willing to buy an AMD 3000+ or 3200+ though.. if I know for sure I can overclock it to high speeds.

would this "Zalman CNPS7000A/B-AlCu Socket462/478/754 All speeds" (for 30€ forcom) do a good job if it comes to cooling or should I better buy the XP-120 (hofline has them for 60€)

my RAM will be Corsair 2x 512 DDR 400 Valueselect pc 3200 Cas 2.5
I know it's no oc ram at all.. but I'm not really planning to buy more expensive than those. Will that bad oc RAM make a big influence in the performance when I overclock?

I'll read it.. does someone knows if the XP-120 fits on an ASUS A8N-Sli Nforce 4? I'm planning to email Thermalrights if nobody knows the answer for sure.

I had the chance to test 2 amd64 winchester 3200+ cpu's , and now i have a 3000+ , perhaps it's draw of luck , but the two 3200+ didn't oc that good , one i could only get stable @ 2580 , the other only reached 2550 completely stable . My 3000+ now runs @ 2705 mhz , every day , and is completely stable , folds@ 100% for 2 days now , and he didn't drop a wu yet .
Know the xp120 is a verry good sink , and i'm sure that this cpu would do the same , or almost with the xp 120 and a decent fan , as i do now with watercooling . Only advantage i have is that with a voltmod , i could push it higher , now i'm restricted by the 1,6 vcore max .
