Ok im aware the 3000 or a 3500+ can go were the 3800+ can but not with out a set of expensive rams $250+ with the 3500+ very close to the NOW 3800+ price of $370.00.. My first amd 64 project i decided to go with the 3800+ since it bench a hair away from the fx 53 with out any oc or expensive rams . IF the price of the 3800+ keeps droping you wont see me buying expensives rams unless they also get dirt cheap. some people here might scream = my $140 chip can do that = yes but with a set of $300.00 rams for two sticks of 512mb . i have not seen any real cheap set of dual channel DDR2 512mb sticks yet. and i have look very hard. |
