i did an entire night of testing three weeks ago, temps in the room were at that moment 17-19° : load temps : -8 to -6...

the,n I tested during one hot oc-nightmare day : room temp 31° : load temps : 2-4°

do not worry... winter will come back. then we'll have true fun. roomtemps @ 7°C are common in my OC-room

thanks, I see. I am most concerned with the difference in idle and load temps of around 15C. is this normal?

to me that seems like a mounting problem, imperfect contact...
but you seem convinced your mounting is okay?

I'll give it another try this weekend. Take the whole motherboard out and do it.
I have remounted it around 5 times now.

hmmm... I'm certain it is not bad contact now.
remounted everything, and got the same results.

me starts crying...:ween: idle of -11 and load of 6~8.
but okay, at least your load temp is not just 1 or 2C higher than your idle. There's a 15C difference.

What were your ambient and evaporator temps?

mine were 23C ambient, -40C idle, -33 load. 3Ghz, 1.8v actual.

owkay, entire free afternoon of neverwinter nights (quite stressy ), and when I stopped, prime started running... so it's been stressed for about 6 hours @ 100%

idle evap -43
idle cpu temp -19 to -20 (a bit hotter than yesterday)
roomtemp : 25°

stressed after six hours : room temp : 27° ( ) hot gamin' man!
evap : -35
load cpu (prime) : -5

Thought I give this thread a little *bump*

Before (with EPoX 8K7A+): idle : -4°C (was best i could do)

after installing ABIT KX7:
idle : -8°C with evap.: -34°C
So if my evap temps would drop to lets say -38°C...

/me = happy
