| Results after fit and test: with 1.6v set in the bios, it's stable up to 1.91Ghz. with 1.7v set in the bios (1.65 detected) , it's stable up to 2.99Ghz. Idling at -14 ~ -15C, full load using CPUBurn at 5~6C. Not sure if those results are good. There was another 2.26 I had that did 2.99Ghz with aircooling, using 1.85v set in the bios. hmm... is 2.99Ghz with 1.7v bios good? The Samsung PC2700 is awsome, at 3.0v bios (2.9v detected), it ran at 236Mhz, with 2.5-6-2-3! Sandra memory scores of 3560ish. Will find the screeny and attach it tomorrow. (will get telenet at home soon, I'm at parents' office with ADSL at the moment.) 3DMark 2001SE (not the patched one, just downloaded the patch), resulted in 13273. The Ti4600 was running at 333/750, with stock cooling. I think I need to get a waterblock for my 156w peltier... with more core I might be able to get places. PCMark 2002 actually gave me a place on the first page, with myCPU 7291 Mem 6959 HDD 1544 hard disk was 2x WD1200JB in a striped raid. These people with 10k+ HDD scores much be running PCMark from a ram drive... |

nice scoring there! 3dmark needs some tweaking (I'm at 14113 with 328/720 and 2850 mhz) but you got quite some raw power there. quite an expensive machine, my 1000BB-se just failed out on me, so i'm restricted to maxtor until I get my rma. for the moment I'm at 3007 still with the 1.6a, it doesn't go any higher. and the 2.26 is 3160-ish. maybe this thread p4-overclocks is the place for cpu screens.

| 1.60 on the abit bd7-II, but i simply don't like the power of that ddr... so i sold it again. on the abit th7-II I get just as high with 1.78... me be keeping the abit th7-II till we got a new generation of rimmmobo's the abit bd7-II would be a perfect mobo if we had ram that would do 260... playing with 185 fsb on a 3:4 divider : getting a ramspeed of 250... but we haven't got that...so rimm it is. next week i'll be doing a new score with the rimms at 3160 instead of 2850.
