| ![]() Hi, I've got a problem with the Abit nf7-s2g motherboard. The maximum stable cpu frequenty that I can get out of my 2500+ barton is 2407mhz. Now, that really dissapoints me, is the nf7-s2g really a bad overclocker or is it my hw. -2* takems 256 mb ddr400 @ 219 and 5-3-3-3 -Ahtlon xp 2500+ barton -Abit nf7-s2g (duh) -9800 pro Well, my cpu is currently running at 31°C and stressed it will not go over 33°C (custom wc) Chipset has good ventilation and the vcontrollers too. Now, the voltage of my cpu is raised to the maximum 1.92V ![]() Is'nt there a bios update that can me more volts or something ? |

| ![]() Hmm, I was just about to buy one. It would have a 3000+barton. Guess I'll better do some reading before choosing the sg over the s version... |

![]() | ![]() stand corrected. still for an unmodded Abit mobo 219 FSB is not that bad. to go higher you need vmod for the northbridge and better cooling also other BIOS' etc if you want to make sure it is your mobo; you'll need an unlocked CPU and relax the timings on the memory; that will allow you to discover the max FSB of the board
