A64 3000+ overclocking....

got all my stuff, but problems are already here.
first installed windows and stuff.
first i tried oc'ing with clockgen because its easy and....
but when i hit 2000mhz, pc crached:grum:
so i tought maybe its an bad bios ....
so i flashed it, and suddenly after 2 reboots couldn't load windows anymore.
save made works, going to install windows again tomorrow.
but what i find very weird is that i tried 225 fsb on stock vcore and on 1.45V and it was not stable.(stock bios and other)
my p4 worked with stock vcore @ 3.3ghz
pentium is not the same like amd but still:(

going to install everything back tomorrow and flash my bios back, its 1.36 modded version now.

pff

ignore my first post,
came home pc booted normal.
went oc'ing with a fresh mind.
got 2.7 ghz and 2.8 is max on air so far(maybe after some tweaking)
memory is maxed out because i cant get 2.85+V on it:((p4 went too 3V :D)
so i'll have to whait for gskill now.

superpi 33sec :D

what memory are you using?

with that GSKILL then you might get better results with 2.8 or 2.75v

2.9-3.1v will LOWER performance.
