A 6800LE is a fine card if all your pipelines/shaders work.

Your score seems to be a bit too low.

I hit 4126 3Dmarks untweaked with following system.

AMD XP@2530mhz (220*11.5) // 6800LE@ 350/800 , 12p*6vp

System not fully overclocked.

Default Ah Retirement!

I wish I could retire. Then I would have more time for all this. Work really gets in the way of benching and BS'ing in here.
I have been buried in work and took on some editing jobs on the side. I built 4 more systems for people in the last 2 weeks. I have '95 Chevy corsica that has been waiting for me to bring it back to life for a couple months. Well as of now it lives!! I think I have it sold. That will be one less rig parked in the driveway. So, now I can come play a little bit again. As soon as I get my Oregon State Tax back I am going to go ahead and pick up a Radeon
X850XT. And do some playing with it. I had only one Radeon card before. It was a 9800pro. It died in less than 2 weeks. I returned it for a refund and went back to my Nvidia cards. I am ready to try Radeon again.

Default OSU Beavers!!

Great School. I really like the Corvallis Oregon area. We will never know where that road may of went. Oh well. I like living here in S.W. Washington better than Oregon. I was born there but I have spent most of my life here. Oh yes. I have also moved up on the score list for 3DMark 05 too. I picked up a new X850XT. This is my first real experience with ATI. Too much involved with them. Catalyst Control Center. ( Oh Brother) Net whatever so you can install the catalyst you do download. It puts about 10 damn items
On your list in the control panel. Nvidia puts 1. It says "Nvidia Driver" that's it. Don't get me wrong I am liking this card alright. I just have a few probs with it. If you OC too much the screen just goes all bug fu**ed or just blue. Boy that will get your pulse racing the first couple times. But, Still it has a very nice smooth picture in all the benches. I do believe my 6800GT was a little better for COD. But it is smoother at other newer games. In a lot of ways they are a toss up. Well enough blah blah blah. Here is my score so far with my new card.

just download catalyst drivers with control pannel, easy

you don't even need the shortcut it installs, you can just Rclick your desktop - properties - advanced and you have all your options right there. and for overlcocking, use atitool it has an option for max core and max mem wich now seem to work properly, you can even adjust your vidcards memtimings and if I'm not mistaken, the AI level are whatever it's called wich suposedly could only be adjusted with catalyst control center and .net framework.

I swapped benchmarking for gaming about 3 years ago; haven't regretted it a single moment

I bench and play both! Although I do more rendering work with my system than anything else! It rips through video work. and benches and games like a monster. I am very happy with this set up and with the genius that set it up!! LOL....

That is all for this one now. I will return to it later This was really just a "Get to know my new system exercise. I would say that My System and I are in pretty good shape now! And we have become great friends!!
