2600+ 266FSB : 2166MHz
2600+ 333FSB : 2083MHz
2500+ 333FSB : 1833MHz

The 2500+ is a pretty good overclocking, it's the slowest barton.
The 2600+ is overkill for OC, you got slower (cheaper) equally preforming CPU's. So there's no reason for getting those.

and a barton 3000+ ?

FreeStyler 5th August 2003 21:28

don't go for it.
You should reach those speeds with a 2500+, so it's just waste of money.

Barton has double the L2 cache, that helps with benching.

A 2500+ is a barton.
that's why I recommend it.

specs :
Barton 2500+ stepping : AQZEA - Vcore : 1,7
Mobo : Abit nf-s rev 1.2 - Chipsetvoltage 1,6
mem : 2x256mb Twinmos PC3200 7-3-3-2,5cl - Voltage 2,6
Video : Hercules 9500 pro - niet overlockt
Cooler : SLK800 - delta fan
