225 watt peltier

Dear [M]adshrimpers :wtf:

I could get my hands on a 225 watt single stage peltier... don't know if this is *much* ?

Still waiting for the prices :)

it runs at 15 volts and 24 amps max
max temp difference ~ 67°c

50mmx50mm

Delta Tmax of 67°C rather good for a 225watt pelt (shouldn't that be 226W?)

Anthroplast 10th June 2002 16:08

yes, but rounded it down :D

jmke 16th June 2002 18:21

go for it if the price is :super:
make sure you have good cooling (chilled water?)

RichBa5tard 16th June 2002 18:51

high wattage pelts are normally 24V, this one is 15V which is handy => you can plug it in a regular PSU (no moddin' / expensive PSU necessary)

Go for it!

If you need a maze 2, I'm gonna sell one soon. :king:

:hello: It's not 4 me actually, cannot afford this. :D

Is this mountable on a gpu?
I know it's overkill...But is it do-able?

TerAngreal 16th June 2002 20:12

calantak -- reading your reply just put a smile on my face ...

just what OC'ing is all about, buying some expensive cooling just to make some electric PCB based thingie go a few MHz faster :ws:

I think a 40*40 is more suitable... OPP and JC use a 156w

probably just that little bit too big :(
