#1 in wPrime1024m for OC-Team.be!

Yay!

Today I had the chance to play with an IBM xServer x3850 M2 equipped with four quadcore xeons (and 32GB RAM). Needless to say it was a thrill to work with such powerfull machine. Offcourse I couldn't resist to run a benchmark, and for such multi-cpu, multi-core beast, the best benchmark was wPrime. Running it on server 2008, I was able to achieve the first place in the wPrime1024m-ranking (with a blistering fast 1min52sec670ms, the first under 2 minutes). Check out http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=710552
I also ran wPrime32m, which was completed after an amazing 4 seconds and 078ms. This braught me to a shared second place with k|ngp|n. Check out http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=710561 for the result.

Thanks again to these great guys at IBM!

try to rerun 32M with more threads defined, that should get your 1st place:)

As the IBM-server has 16 cores, I ran wPrime with 16 threads. Running with 32 threads was slower...

He lost first place, pity :(

I did an edit on your signature, but it seems it's not the same on HWbot, can you try to change it ?
As requested.

It's the same userId, but I don't use it anywhere else...
