Texas Instrument says it's out of the smartphone game

Whenever I think of Texas Instrument I think of the TI-83 graphing calculator that got me through high school calculus, and for that I am forever grateful. However, the days of TI being one of the dominant forces in driving mobile phone technology is coming to a screeching halt.
