@ 2012/10/29Japanese company Abee announced four new cube-shaped cases of various sizes, which are designed to make it easier to space out hardware, and install space-hungry optional components such as water-cooling. Perfectly cubical, the series includes RC04 and RC04G designed for mini-ITX motherboards; RC07 and RC07G for micro-ATX/mini-ITX motherboards.
The RC04 series measures 240 x 240 x 240 mm, made with aluminum alloy framework (chassis), and brushed aluminum panels. The RC04 is available in black and silver, while the RC04G features additional color options and a better "shiny" (chrome) finish, available in silver, carbon-black, and brown. It packs room for graphics cards as long as 190 mm. and low-profile CPU coolers (no more than 55 mm tall). There's just enough room for a compact ATX PSU (which can make room for two more 3.5-inch bays), a 3.5-inch HDD, and 2.5-inch HDD/SSD (two separate bays), and a 5.25-inch bay (which can make room for two more 3.5-inch bays.
