FREMONT, California — September 20, 2012 — Corsair®, a worldwide designer and supplier of high-performance components to the PC gaming hardware market, today announced that Maximum PC has selected Corsair's AX1200i digital ATX power supply unit (PSU), Dominator® Platinum DDR3 memory, and Vengeance® K90 mechanical gaming keyboard for the magazine's prestigious Dream Machine for 2012. This year marks the ninth year that Corsair DRAM has been selected for the Dream Machine, the second year for a Corsair PSU, and the first for a Corsair keyboard.

Each year, Maximum PC magazine builds their "Dream Machine", a PC the magazine's editors feel represents the state of the art in high-performance desktop computing. This year's "retro-futuristic" Dream Machine, powered by Corsair's 1200 watt AX1200i digital PSU and 64GB of Dominator Platinum 2133MHz memory, achieved a stunning score of 10,906 in gaming performance benchmark, 3DMark 11. The powerful machine is controlled with a Corsair Vengeance K90 backlit mechanical gaming keyboard.

"Every year the editors of Maximum PC stretch the boundaries by building the ultimate PC, the Dream Machine, using the ultimate PC components," said Andy Paul, President and CEO at Corsair. "We are honored that Maximum PC have again selected a Corsair PSU and memory kit for the Dream Machine, and we're thrilled that the Vengeance K90, from our new keyboard product line, has also been selected."
