New Vulnerabilities Found in Latest Java Update

"Wait. What? I thought you patched that exploit". That must sound like the exchange this morning over at Oracle when the engineers showed up for work. Bottom line is the patch for Java 7 released yesterday doesn't work, so the best protection at this point in time is to disable Java and wait for a patch that actually works. According to MacWorld, the Polish security firm Security Explorations is claiming to have discovered two new vulnerabilities in Java 7, which so far are proof-of-concept exploits that can be used to break the Java 7 sandbox and execute code.
