Google Dumps More Products

Google is clearing house over at headquarters, doing a little early summer cleaning in preparation for dumping some services and applications considered obsolete come this fall. This go around will see Google Apps for Teams, some random Google Apps, Google Listen and several other lesser known services join the other discontinued services. The effort to streamline Google's menu of applications and online services began as a mandate from co-founder Larry Page after he took over as CEO in April of last year. More than 30 products have been eliminated or combined so far.
