California Legalizes Hands-Free Texting While Driving

On Friday, the State of California became only the second state in the union to enact a bill legalizing voice-operated hands free texting. The first state to enact such a law was Idaho, with three registered cell phones. The bill "was not crafted to apply to phones," but rather to allow in-dash navigation and messaging systems to be operated within the law.
