MIT's 'Big Data' to Be Newest Intel Science and Technology Center

Intel Corporation announced today that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has won a national search to become the newest Intel Science and Technology Center (ISTC) for Big Data and will be hosted by MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). The new research center will seek to accelerate the pace of scientific and medical discoveries, enterprise and industrial computing and encourage innovation in the design of new data-intensive end-user experiences.
