ASUS P8Z77-M Pro Micro-ATX Motherboard Review @ Hi Tech Legion

@ 2012/05/31
The ASUS P8Z77-M Pro is the micro-ATX board for the user looking for top end punch. Size may be smaller on the P8Z77-M Pro, but performance and quality are not. The P8Z77-M Pro uses Intel’s latest Z77 chipset, and takes advantage of the available top end features. Four RAM slots support up to 32Gb of DDR3 RAM at speeds of up to 2400 (OC), while the LGA1155 socket is compatible with the new 22nm process Ivy Bridge, as well as Sandy Bridge. A 6+2 Phase VRM with DGI+ processing offers unique one touch TPU overclocking, as well as EPU for running the CPU at power consumption levels dictated by the user. There are plenty of connectivity options, with six USB 3.0 ports and eight USB 2.0 ports. All USB 3.0 ports feature ASUS’ USB 3.0 Boost for speeds increased up to 170%, and two ports are Asmedia controlled with UASP support.
