Gigabyte Z68XP-UD5 @ PureOverclock

Intel's Z68 chipset isn't exactly new, but it's not old, and certainly packs a performance punch, marrying much of the advantages of what we saw in P67 and H67 into a hybrid of sorts. And while the latest and greatest X79 is attracting most of the hype, it's the mid-range market that often quietly brings in the profits. After all, not everyone can afford dropping a small fortune on a LGA2011 platform setup. The Z68 board from Gigabyte we're looking at is the Z68XP-UD5. It has many of the enthusiast features Gigabyte is known for, but lacks the high price tag of its X79 counterparts. Can this board measure up? We think so.
